Methodology

SLC building permits, Utah liquor-agenda applicants, Colorado license changes, Mesa commercial permits. Not every restaurant, not every city.

A metro is added only after a live, scriptable feed exists. We do not generate empty city pages to rank.

Feeds

• Salt Lake City Accela REST building permits, filtered to kitchen-going-in language.
• Utah DABS Commission agendas (posted PDFs) for named restaurant and bar applicants.
• Utah DABS GIS issued restaurant/bar roster, as a nightly delta. GIS is now licensed; agendas are asked this month.
• Colorado liquor licenses (Socrata, public domain), on-premise classes, nightly new and dropped rows.
• Mesa, Arizona commercial permits with kitchen / hood language.

Cite or drop

Every published field has a source_url. A filing missing a cite fails the build and does not ship. Agenda rows cite the PDF URL plus page number. Permit and license rows cite the API or open-data page.

What we will not scrape

• ut-dabs.viewpointcloud.com — robots.txt Disallow, login wall.
• Accela Citizen Access, CityView, or CityWorks behind Cloudflare sessions.
• azliquor.gov — WAF 403.
• DABS application packets (GRAMA series 30615) — PII.
• Construction plans.
• Home addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers.

A source older than 48 hours is marked stale on the home page and the metro page. Other feeds still publish.
